In order to live a higher quality life, maintaining optimal wellness is key. Everything we feel and do relates to our well-being and directly affects our actions and emotions. In order to subdue stress, reduce illness, and ensure positive moments in your life, you must achieve optimal wellness.
Your overall wellness is essential to your health, wealth, and achieving your goals in life. You could win $1.5 million dollars right now and if you are sick physically, mentally or spiritually it will be useless. You will not be well physically and not be able to use the money due to your ailments and therefore, you will not be able to enjoy it. If you aren't mentally and spiritually well you will misuse it or lose it. It is vital to your existence to practice self care, reduce stress and remain calm as you possibly can in all situations. I have struggled with all three of these important factors throughout my life because of family, school, friends and work, and through trial and error I have come to the conclusion that if I adhere to these three factors I will benefit wholeheartedly .
I learned these practices from one of my favorite books of all-time The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom by Don Miguel Ruiz it was one the most amazing books I read and its principles are helpful , inspiring, comforting ,and useful. One must be sure to practice self care; massage your scalp, floss, exercise, rest , eat well and pray. Choose to use quality products and engage in quality experiences. Choose to spend time with quality people. Do not allow anyone or anything to stress you out, advocate for yourself and practice daily temperance. Furthermore, doing these things will bring your body, mind and soul true joy and fufillment because in conjunction of these practices your body will realize how much you care for yourself and then you can in turn care for others.
